Susan started her career in Mortgage Banking in 1983 working for Colonial Bank in Annandale, VA as a Loan Processor. After spending the next several years working as a Loan Processor, Susan came to realize that being a Loan Originator was much more lucrative, which began the start to a career as a Loan Originator for a number of Large Banks, Correspondent Lenders and Broker, including starting her own Mortgage Brokerage, Coastal Mortgage in the early 90's. Today Susan calls First Savings Mortgage her "home".
She would best be described as a subject matter expert who prides herself in making the process as easy and as stress free as possible for her clients. She always wants to make sure that her and her team are giving their clients the best experience with the least amount of stress, and going above and beyond their clients’ expectations as they go through the financing journey together.
Knowledge of the industry, building a solid foundation, forging personal and professional relationships, and having patience and empathy with anyone that she meets has been her strength.
